Ghost towns always fascinate people. In the countryside of Europe as well as in the US, there are several undocumented ghost towns that are not accessible to the common public. Contrary to the term ghost, which is used to denote a spectre or a phantom, ghost towns are not haunted but deserted and abandoned for years. It is not everyday that you suddenly bump into a ghost town while just driving down the road casually; but when you do, what better than to document it properly? That is exactly what a man did after he encountered one after coming across a roadblock in the middle of the road. The man made a video of it and it was uploaded by the Instagram handle 2 Swag Productions. In the video, the man says he was driving through a remote region, when he came across a roadblock with ‘Dead End’ signs.
The man was clearly curious. He decided to pull over his car and investigate the matter by walking on foot instead. He crossed the roadblock on foot and started walking down the deserted highway. Soon, he started to find signs of a town nearby. After some time, he got off the highway and followed the power lines, finally coming across a narrow road with houses on both sides of it.

He soon found himself in the midst of a small ghost town, comprising deserted homes in a dilapidated condition. He even found a rundown vehicle in one of the car sheds near the homes. He even investigated the inside of some of the homes and discovered signs of families living there at some point of time. He said he soon left since it was getting late and wondered if he should come back.
Commenters referenced various popular horror movies in the comments section like The Hills Have Eyes and Silent Hill, calling him brave to embark upon this adventure. One user said that it was possible that the town was abandoned due to a nuclear spill and asked the man to return with a radiation suit next time.
