Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has made a flying start to 2018, recording a year-on-year growth of 41.7% in domestic sales for the month of January 2018. Riding on a strong domestic performance, the two-wheeler manufacturer clocked an overall sale of 49,763 units, with exports contributing 4,476 units to the tally.
Suzuki Motorcycle India is amidst a record-breaking financial year currently, with an overall sales of 4,70,499 units during the April 2017-January 2018 period. The same represents a 38.26% increase over the 3,40,294 units clocked during the corresponding period, last-year. Suzuki Motorcycle India is targeting 5 lacs unit sales for the FY 2017-18.

Commenting on Suzuki Motorcycle India January 2018 performance, Mr. Sajeev Rajasekharan, EVP, Sales and Marketing, SMIPL said, “We are very happy to have carried our momentum from last-year into 2018 as well. But our ambitions are much-higher. The Auto Expo 2018 will give a preview into the exciting product roadmap that we have for India, We are confident that we will continue our growth as a premium two-wheeler manufacturer in India."
Suzuki Motorcycle India is set to unveil its new product line-up for the coming year at the 14th Auto Expo on February 07, 2018. The weeklong extravaganza at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi – NCR, India, will see Suzuki Motorcycle India showcase 17 models, both in scooters as well as the motorcycle category.
