NVS Class 6 Admission 2021: Last Date to Apply to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Today
Students applying for the NVS Class 6 Admission 2021 seats will be screened on the basis of their performance in the JNV selection test.

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will be closing the online application window for candidates seeking admission to standard 6 at the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) on Tuesday. As today is the last date to apply for NVS Class 6 Admission 2021, all the applicants who wish to register themselves are advised to visit the official site of the schools at navodaya.gov.in and apply for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2021.

Students applying for the NVS Class 6 Admission 2021 seats will be screened on the basis of their performance in the JNV selection test. As per the schedule released, NVS will be conducting the JNV Class 6 Admission 2021 exam for the academic session 2021-22 on April 10, 2021. This test is applicable for all the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.

The NVS Class 6 Admission 2021 test will be held at 11.30 am in one phase and the JNVST result 2021 is expected to be announced by the month of June 2021. It will go on till 1:30 pm and the paper will consist of three sections with only objective type questions. There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks.

Before applying for NVS Class 6 Admission 2021, candidates must see that they match the eligibility criteria mentioned on the website of the NVS. All the applicants must have been born between 01-05-2008 and 30-04-2012 (both dates are inclusive). This age limitation includes students of all categories and no relaxation has been given to those belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC).

The candidates must have been studying in the fifth standard in the academic year 2019-20. There is also a distance and location criteria involved as only the candidates who have a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in their district will be able to apply. They must choose from the 661 schools present currently in the country.

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are run by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, New Delhi, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. These central schools give admission to talented students from across the country and every year several students appear in the selection test to grab a seat in the schools.
