Rajasthan Education Dept To Allot APAAR Numbers To Students
With the help of this permanent education number, all information of the students can be checked, and their academic progress can be tracked.

In Rajasthan, the education department will give the students a 12-digit permanent education number, which will be linked to the Aadhaar Card. This number will be a unique identification number through which the complete academic information of students can be viewed in just 1 click.

APAAR stands for Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry. According to reports, the aim of this step is not only to prevent cheating in recruitment exams but also to collect and protect the complete information of students. With the help of this permanent education number, every information of the students can be checked, and their academic progress can be tracked.

This number will also help students with job and career-related prospects. The School Shiksha Parishad will provide these permanent education numbers to the Rajasthan students. A new portal is being prepared for this and a nodal officer has also been appointed to oversee the entire system.

All the academic records, syllabus, mark sheet, certificates and other documents of the student will be stored in this ID, which can be accessed from any place.

By allotting Permanent Education Numbers to students under ID, the malpractice of fake mark sheets will also come to an end. Since all the records of the students are stored in one folder, no one will be able to tamper with their mark sheets. Apart from this, all the student’s academic activities can also be tracked. As per the experts, incidents like fake mark sheets can be strictly monitored during recruitment examinations for government jobs. If any candidate tries to get a job based on a fake marksheet, then his or her record can be checked immediately through this ID number.

APAAR: One Nation One Student ID Cards were unveiled in New Delhi on February 13, 2024. Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan attended the National Conference on APAAR. While speaking at the conference, the minister said that around 25 crore APAAR IDs have already been created.
