Though tremors were felt in some parts of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, the state itself felt no tremors after a massive earthquake hit Nepal and north India on Saturday morning.

The state government has also requested the Indian embassy in Nepal to find out if any more tourists from Telangana are stranded. Senior state officials are also in contact with the Nepalese officials.
