Two days after the grand pre-wedding festivities of his younger son Anant Ambani in Gujarat’s Jamnagar, Reliance Industries chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani and his mother Kokilaben offered prayers at the Dwarkadhish temple on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media after his visit to the temple, the business tycoon said Jamnagar had now gone international. He also thanked the people of Jamnagar for extending their support during the three-day extravaganza at the Reliance’s refinery complex and township.
“With the blessing of Lord Dwarkadhish, wedding celebrations of Anant and Radhika took place. I would like to thank the people of Jamnagar for extending their support. Jamnagar is now on the international platform. Nita (Ambani) and I are very grateful to the people and extend our gratitude,” he said.

Anant’s fiancee Radhika Merchant’s parents, Viren and Shaila Merchant, also accompanied the Ambanis to the temple and were spotted in pictures and videos released.
Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding festivities commenced on March 1 and concluded on March 3. The couple is set to tie the knot on July 12. A glamorous guest list from the realms of entertainment, industry, politics, and sports converged at the opulent celebration in the coastal city.
Notable figures such as Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, along with business leaders like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Gautam Adani, N Chandrasekaran, Kumar Mangalam Birla, and Ajay Piramal were among the distinguished guests who graced the occasion.
The festivities kicked off with a spectacular performance by international music sensation Rihanna, setting the tone for the star-studded celebrations. The pre-wedding event boasted a blend of cultural extravagance and glamour, with themed days like ‘An Evening in Everland’, ‘A Walk on the Wildside’, and ‘Mela Rouge’, culminating in a mix of cultural activities and elegant gatherings.
