WARANGAL: Police filed case against the management of a private school which locked up a residential student for not paying fee due. The student, Bedamla Aravind, belonging to Bavupet in Elukaturthy mandal in Karimnagar district, is studying 4th class in Rao's Techno School at Hsanparty mandal headquarters.Aravind, was supposed to pay Rs 35,000 per year as residential fee and his father, Sankar, had paid Rs 32,000 on instalment basis so far. After completion of annual examinations on April 12, the school sent all students home for summer holidays. But they kept Aravind locked in a room for not paying the Rs 3,000 fee due.School supervisor Venkateswara Rao called up Sankar and told him to take home his son paying the due. Sankar alleged that Venkateswara Rao did not send his son home even though he promised to pay the remaining Rs 3,000 in a couple of days.Aravind said that he, along with another student, were confined in a room. "I could not eat food and spend the entire night crying," he said.
