Taking to social media, she called the series rich in history and wisdom, following the many other celebrities who have loved it. Sharing a video clip from the series on her Instagram Stories, Anushka Sharma, who is in London with husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, wrote, “So much history, but also, wisdom in this docu series.”
Angry Young Men is a docuseries about iconic Bollywood writer duo Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar. This three-part series looks at how Salim-Javed changed Hindi cinema in the 1970s with their powerful scripts and the famous ‘Angry Young Man’ character. Featuring insights from the duo and industry stars, it shows how their work in blockbusters like Sholay, Deewaar, and Don captured a generation and made a lasting cultural impact. The docuseries aims to provide a personal and honest look at their lives, their writing, and their legacy.
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are currently in London where they are living a calm life away from all the glitz and glamour. Recently, the two stepped out for shopping in the city when they were caught by someone on a camera. In a video that surfaced on social media, Anushka and Virat were seen walking on the street. Anushka was seen carrying a red handbag. On the other hand, Virat was seen walking behind her. He was carrying a couple of shopping bags.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka Sharma will soon be seen in Chakda Xpress. It is a biopic on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The movie also marks her comeback to film after six years. She was last seen in Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The upcoming sports drama will be released on Netflix. However, its release date has not been announced as of now.
