Arjun Rampal was compelled to reschedule his flight due to an ongoing Microsoft outage.

Actor Arjun Rampal was compelled to change his travel plans on Friday, July 19, due to a significant disruption in Microsoft’s cloud services. Rampal shared with news agency ANI that he had to book an alternate flight to accommodate the unexpected circumstances.

He told the news agency,”Their servers are down, I don’t know what has happened. I also have a ticket of another airline. I am going there…”

On Friday, a significant outage in Microsoft’s cloud services led to widespread flight delays across India, impacting major airports in Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Pune, and Mumbai. The disruption hampered booking and check-in processes for several airlines, including IndiGo, Akasa Airlines, and SpiceJet.

Beyond the aviation sector, the outage also affected various businesses such as banks, telecom companies, and TV and radio broadcasters. The incident was linked to a global occurrence of the notorious blue screen of death error on Windows workstations, resulting in substantial operational disruptions.

Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal has always been known for his captivating screen presence and remarkable acting talent. However, beyond the glitz and glamour of the film industry, Arjun is also known for his philanthropic deeds.

He recently emerged as a passionate advocate for children’s rights, championing the cause with unwavering dedication. In 2024, his commitment to making a difference reached new heights as he became the first Indian celebrity to raise an astounding $1.5 million for CRY America, a non-profit organisation dedicated to ensuring every child’s right to a happy, healthy, and educated life.

His involvement in the galas hosted in various parts of America significantly elevated the events, drawing high-net-worth individuals and generous donors who contributed to this remarkable fundraising feat.

On the work front, Arjun Rampal’s last appearance was in Bhagavanth Kesari, a collaboration with Nandamuri Balakrishna. In the film, he played an antagonist. Next, he will essay a pivotal character alongside Bobby Deol in Abbas Mastaan’s film Penthouse. Additionally, he was also a part of the sports action film Crakk with Vidyut Jammwal and Jacqueline Fernandez.
