Boney Kapoor has revealed he has got a hair transplant. The 68-year-old film producer, who is also actress Janhvi Kapoor’s father, took to Instagram and revealed he underwent the transplant process. In a now-deleted video, Boney shared the news, adding that he did the transplant to become a “better looking person”. The filmmaker revealed he got the procedure done in Hyderabad and even inaugurated a new clinic of the doctors who did the transplant.
As reported by Free Press Journal, Boney said, “Sarr mera dhak jaega, baalon se bhar jaega, baal ugenge, kya baat hai! (My head will be covered, hair will also grow back. Wow!)”. He added, “Abhi tak toh experience acha raha hai. Abhi dekhte hai yeh jo baal inhone lagaye hai mere sarr pe, kitna help karega mujhe ek better looking insaan banane mein.”
Boney then deleted the post and confirmed the news of his hair transplant. “Opening at Hyderabad on 17th EUGENIX hair transplant clinic which has worked on giving me & so many others from world over a new hairy look . Baldness of many will disappear soon from Hyderabad . All the very best to make Hyderabad hairy & more glamorous .”
On the work front, Boney has been busy with his projects. He made his acting debut with Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar last year. The film was headlined by Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Boney played the role of Ranbir’s father.
Meanwhile, he also often talks about his children’s project. He recently spoke about Janhvi’s upcoming films. Speaking with iDream media, he said, “My daughter has already shot for a film with Jr NTR. She’s loving every bit of the day she spends on sets here. Soon, she will start a film with Ram Charan too. These two boys are doing very well. She has been watching a lot of Telugu films and she feels blessed to work with them. Hopefully, the films will work, and she will get more work. She will also act with Suriya soon. My wife (Sridevi) acted in multiple languages, I hope my daughter does the same.”
