Mahendra Singh Dhoni enjoys a massive fan following across India and is hailed as one of the greatest captain to lead the Men in Blue. The former India captain retired from international cricket in 2020 and only plays in the Indian Premier League. That doesn’t mean his popularity has waned even a bit. Every picture and every video of Dhoni always tops the trending charts. In the latest viral picture, Dhoni shares the frame with veteran Malayalam actor Mohanlal, also referred to as Lalettan. The duo came together for an ad shoot.

Another person, who missed MS Dhoni’s presence in the Indian cricket team, requested him to return to international cricket as a coach. “MSD please be the coach of the Indian team!” he said.

Just a few weeks ago, MS Dhoni paid his visit to the Flushing Meadows in New York to enjoy the US Open. The legendary cricketer was spotted in the stands of the Arthur Ashe Stadium during a men’s singles quarter-final between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev on September 7. The broadcaster’s camera captured Dhoni sitting among the crowd when the in-court actions were halted for a drinks break. Like any other content related to Dhoni, the video was able to garner massive traction from Indian fans.

Dhoni was last seen in action in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) where his team Chennai Super Kings secured their fifth title. Dhoni played the entire campaign with a knee injury but made sure not to miss a single game. After the tournament, the CSK skipper underwent surgery on his injured knee at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.
