Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India, never ceases to surprise, and its latest twist is straight out of a comic book. Spider-Man has been spotted cruising through the city’s bustling streets on the back of a motorbike. Yes, you read that right. A video making waves online shows everyone’s favourite web-slinger casually riding the pillion seat of a motorbike.
The footage shows a man dressed as Spider-Man costume riding on the back seat of a motorbike through the streets of Bengaluru’s JP Nagar. But don’t worry, our favourite Marvel hero didn’t skimp on safety as he wore a helmet and followed traffic rules. When they noticed they were being recorded, both men cheerfully gave a thumbs-up before continuing on their way.
The video was shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by Vishal along with the caption, “Spider-Man in jp nagar.”

A user joked, “No peter parker was hurt in the making of this video,” while another quipped, “Not that’s a sight for sore eyes.”
“Spider-Man needed a silk board,” someone humorously suggested. Another funny comment read, “Spider man wearing Chappals.”
The streak of comedic relief continued with comments like, “When you can’t find tall buildings to swing, just rapido!” and “Spider-Man : away from office.”

Superhero sightings on the streets seem to be becoming a trend lately. Just a month ago, in South West Delhi’s Dwarka, a peculiar duo grabbed the attention of locals and the law enforcement alike. Aditya, 20, dressed as Spider-Man, and his friend Anjali, 19, donned the guise of Spider-Woman, were apprehended by the police authorities for performing stunts on a motorcycle. The police said the couple was riding on a bike with no number plate or mirrors.

Their act, captured in a video titled “Spider-Man Najafgarh Part 5,” depicted Spider-Woman approaching the web-slinger, shaking hands and then joining him on the back of his bike. Together they cruised through the streets of Delhi, engaging in conversation, striking poses, and even performing a dance move for the camera.
The video swiftly gained traction online, eventually catching the attention of Delhi traffic police. The couple was subsequently arrested and a challan was issued under the Motor Vehicle Act.
