NABARANGPUR: Plans are afoot for a model Plus Three Government college in the district headquarters town of Nabarangpur.
District Collector Sivabrata Dash said the site for the new building has already been selected. A Plus Two vocational government college on similar lines will be established at Jharigam, he added.With an aim to enhance irrigation facilities, the district administration has decided to set up five mega lift irrigation projects in the district.

The administration has moved the State Government with a proposal. For this purpose, five check dams will be constructed across Indravati river and each LI point will irrigate 1,000 to 1,500 hectares of land in Nandahndi and Kosagumuda blocks.
